…about my feet

forever 21 necklace, bag, and shirt, the limited skirt, vintage sunglasses, boutique 9 heels (painted white)

Just yesterday I noticed a spike in pageviews on the blog, and of course I got excited.  I assumed someone with a good amount of internet clout had recognized my style genius, reblogged one of my looks and directed a lot of traffic my way.  Needless to say, I got a little carried away planning my trip to fashion weeks around the world.  When I came down off my cloud and checked out my site stats, the top referrer happened to be a website for people who really like feet.  Especially dancer-type feet, and though I quit ballet at age five, I somehow retained ridiculously high arches (and a love of twirling).  That combined with the decent amount of high heel photos I post seems to have landed me on the foot fetish site, which I find hilarious and of course a bit disturbing.  So to those of you who are here to look at my feet – thank you.  Though I’m pretty sure you weren’t expecting a site called “No Pants Tuesday” to be a fashion blog.

tribal mix-up

forever 21 silk tribal tee (similar here) and beaded clutch, vintage belt and sunglasses, honey punch skirt, (also similar style + color here), boutique 9 heels, bracelets (from top): gae-tana’s in nola, bauble bar (similar here, here, here), my little fisheye shop

I’m still having fun styling my new neon skirt, this time with an overload of tribal prints.

Happy Friday guys!

fluro trim

american apparel sweatshirt, laugh cry repeat shorts, vintage necklaces, asos clutch (similar here and here), bauble bar neon bracelet (similar here, here, here), h&m yellow link bracelet and hinge ring, sam edelman yelena sandals

A smaller dose of neon today against some nice neutral shades.  As much as I hate buying shorts (see this post), I fell in love with these awesome neon trim ones from Laugh Cry Repeat.  They have a nice high-ish waist with a good amount of room in the legs (I went up a size to ensure a looser fit), a formula that proves most flattering for bigger thighs.  Honestly, I don’t know why all shorts aren’t made like these, it gets so frustrating shopping for shorts when all that are offered are low-cut, booty-cheek-displaying hotpants that look good on approximately .0082% of the population.  Yes?

Happy No Pants Tuesday!

like a boy

chelsea flower blouse (similar here), asos collar tips (similar), clutch (similar here and here), watch (similar), spike bracelet, and jeans, custom spike friendship bracelet from my little fisheye shop, h&m rhinestone bracelet, gifted rings, boutique 9 heels

I’ve wanted a pair of boyfriend jeans for a while now and finally purchased this pair from Asos.  I had to go down a size (and probably could have gone down two) and buy the petite cut to find a pair that fit correctly.  Have you had this problem with bf jeans?  It seems like they’re usually sized too large in the waist, so if you buy your regular size you need a belt to hold them up, then the crotch area gets all weird and pouchy.  I think the perfect pair has a somewhat higher waist, is fitted through the hips, and has a little extra room in the legs.  These come pretty darn close, so I’m satisfied.

Hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend!

sparkle + shorts

zara blazer (similar here) and sandals, vintage silk tee and sunglasses, urban outfitters shorts, orange bracelet from gae-tana’s, bauble bar neon bracelet, asos spike bracelet, forever 21 necklace (similar here), h&m ring

I love how a sequin blazer and heels elevate a pair of shredded denim cutoffs and a simple white tee.

Happy Friday!
